Leader of Many – Abandoned by all!

In less than a week, Jesus went from being

the leader of many to being abandoned by all.  

Between Palm Sunday and Good Friday, the

Good Shepherd became the Passover Lamb.

But I sometimes feel that the familiar incidents

in the life of Jesus between Palm Sunday and

Easter, which is a very Holy Week, has lost

some of its meaning and impact it once had

on people. So this morning I want us to turn

again to the entry of Christ into Jerusalem and

to look afresh at what that meant and means

for us today. Christ willingly went through

suffering that week for us and then God

elevated Him to the highest place.

Thank God for Calvary!
